- Teresa brings 17 years of operational leadership experience to AVP, with a career rooted in multi-site healthcare and consumer service industries. Prior to joining AVP, she held regional leadership roles at Thrive Pet Healthcare and Heart + Paw, supporting financial performance, team development, and growth initiatives in veterinary medicine — and at Hertz, where she honed her approach to building strong teams across complex, multi-location environments.
- Her greatest areas of expertise include multi-site operations, leadership development, change management, and helping organizations scale in a thoughtful and sustainable way. She believes success depends on building trust, developing leaders, and keeping the human side of leadership front and center.
- Teresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
- Outside of work, Teresa enjoys hiking, visiting wineries, and spending time with her family and animals — especially her three rescue cats, Joya, Mushu, and Indie, each with a very distinct personality. She’s also a devoted caretaker of her local feral cat community and an enthusiastic Christmas decorator (her family might say excessively so, starting right around Halloween).
